The formation of the music program was carried out in cooperation with the musician who is the focus of this year's edition – composer and multi-instrumentalist Bostjan Gombac . Together we designed the festival theme Peace tuners .
We want to introduce you to 15 already. the presentation of the Gorizia cross-border Music Festival of the world music I MUSICHE DAL MONDO 2026: peace tuners, organized in partnership by KUD Morgan, the Gorizia Museum and Circolo Controtempo. Festival between 28. July and 7. August 2026 brings a rich set of concerts at the Kromberk Castle and at the Piccolo Cielo venue in the Basaglia Park in Gorizia (it).

Tadej Stolic (Kud Morgan), Vladimir Perunicic (Gorizia Museum), Pierluigi Pintar (Circolo Controtempo) and musician in focus and co-curator of this year's Edition Bostjan Gombac. We are announcing an exclusive resident concert of the Slovenian-Italian-American trio The Peacemakers, consisting of the domestic multi-instrumentalist Bostjan Gombac, the Italian vibraphonist pas Oktuale Mirra and the world-renowned drummer and percussionist Hamid Drake. Omar Sosa Trio-Vibe Factor will be responsible for the bouncy afro-Cuban rhythms and Latin American sounds this year, while the Italian-Senegalese band Afrodream will be responsible for the afrobeat energy. The Italian experimental saxophonist Laura Agnusdei will present her current album with the quartet, while the Italian experimental vocalist Elsa Martin will present her vocal project Vo music Humana.
The programme also includes a joint performance by Bostjan Gombac and guitarist Igor Leonardi. At Kromberk Castle, the sounds of the quartet of the iconic Croatian musician Darko Rundek, the hopes of contemporary Slovenian folk Nika Prusnik and the Poljanec brothers and the legendary Slovenian ethno band Terrafolk will echo. Of the more extravagant performances, we especially highlight the once-in-a-lifetime cabaret of the MODULOU!What is it?The world health organization!, prepared together with a company of playful performers by the popular musician and puppeteer Matija Solca.
The series of concerts at Kromberk Castle, the main co-sponsors of which are the municipality of Nova Gorica and the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Slovenia, will also be accompanied by the delicacies of the world market in the amphitheater, and the soul of the first woman will stage a short theatrical performance by Alexandrinka and tastes of the world.
Oblikovanje glasbenega programa je potekalo v sodelovanju z glasbenikom, ki je v središču letošnje izdaje – skladateljem in multiinštrumentalistom Boštjanom Gombačem . Skupaj smo zasnovali festivalsko temo Uglaševalci miru .
Predstaviti vam želimo že 15. izvedbo goriškega čezmejnega glasbenega festivala GLASBE SVETA I MUSICHE DAL MONDO 2026: UGLAŠEVALCI MIRU, ki ga v partnerstvu organiziramo KUD Morgan, Goriški muzej in Circolo Controtempo. Festival med 28. julijem in 7. avgustom 2026 prinaša bogat nabor koncertov na Gradu Kromberk in na prizorišču Piccolo Cielo v parku Basaglia v Gorici (IT).
Na novinarski konferenci bodo prisotni:

Napovedujemo ekskluzivni rezidenčni koncert slovensko-italijansko-ameriškega tria The Peacemakers, ki ga sestavljajo domači multiinstrumentalist Boštjan Gombač, italijanski vibrafonist Pasquale Mirra ter svetovno priznani bobnar in tolkalec Hamid Drake. Za poskočne afro-kubanske ritme in latinskoameriške zvoke bo letos poskrbel Omar Sosa Trio - Vibe Factor, medtem ko bo za afrobeat energijo odgovorna italijansko-senegalska zasedba Afrodream. Italijanska eksperimentalna saksofonistka Laura Agnusdei bo s kvartetom predstavila svoj aktualni album, italijanska eksperimentalna vokalistka Elsa Martin pa svoj vokalni projekt Vox Humana.
V pestrem programu se obeta tudi skupni nastop Boštjana Gombača in kitarista Igorja Leonardija. Na Gradu Kromberk bodo odmevali zvoki kvarteta ikoničnega hrvaškega glasbenika Darka Rundeka, upov sodobnega slovenskega folka Nika Prusnik in bratje Poljanec ter legendarne slovenske etno zasedbe Terrafolk. Od bolj ekstravagantnih nastopov posebej izpostavljamo enkratni kabaret YOU!WHO?WHO!, ki ga skupaj z družbo razigranih performerjev pripravlja priljubljeni glasbenik in lutkar Matija Solce.
Niz koncertov na Gradu Kromberk, katerih glavna sofinancerja sta Mestna občina Nova Gorica in Ministrstvo RS za kulturo, bo v amfiteatru spremljala tudi tržnica Dobrote sveta, Duštvo žena Prvačine pa bo uprizorilo kratko gledališko predstavo Aleksandrinke in okusi sveta.
