The International Conference IIR THERMAG 6i, organized by the University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) and the Slovenian Ener 6 Association in cooperation with the International Institute of refrigeration, is dedicated to solid-state technologies and connects materials research and their applications in devices such as cryogenics, refrigeration, heat pumps, energy generation, thermal management, heat storage and sensorics.
The main topics of the conference are divided into individual sections:magnetocalorics or thermomagnetics, electrocalorics and pyroelectrics, mechanocalorics and thermomechanics, multicalorics and multiproelectric phenomena, thermoelectrics and magneto-thermoelectrics, solid-state heat storage, solid-state laser cooling, spinkaloritronics, thermal regulation devices and other solid-state materials and related technologies.

Mednarodna konferenca IIR THERMAG XI, ki jo organizirata Univerza v Ljubljani (Fakulteta za strojništvo) in Slovensko združenje za energetiko (Slovenian Enery Association) v sodelovanju z Mednarodnim inštitutom za hlajenjese posveča trdninskim (solid-state) tehnologijam ter povezuje raziskave materialov in njihove aplikacije v napravah, kot so kriogenika, hlajenje, toplotne črpalke, pridobivanje energije, toplotno upravljanje, shranjevanje toplote in senzorika.
Glavne teme konference so razdeljene v posamezne sekcije:magnetokalorika oziroma termomagnetika, elektrokalorika in piroelektrika, mehanokalorika in termomehanika, multikalorika in multipiroelektrični pojavi, termoelektrika in magneto-termoelektrika, trdninsko shranjevanje toplote, trdninsko lasersko hlajenje, spinkaloritronika, naprave za toplotno regulacijo ter drugi trdninski materiali in sorodne tehnologije.
