World Breastfeeding Week is a week to celebrate both breastfeeding and motherhood and parenting. For the tenth year it has been celebrated by the We are breastfeeding festival . The Festival aims to help and inform pregnant women about childbirth, the importance of breastfeeding and also to help mothers overcome breastfeeding problems and other challenges in pregnancy and parenting. This year, parents and future parents are offered a week of free lectures for parents. Classes are from 1. to 4. August available at www.festival-dojiva.se
The Festival will also take place in Trebnje. On Saturday, 26. 8. 2023, from 9.00 to 12.00 in the City Park Trebnje . In the park you can also borrow books from our library. We will offer books that support moms and dads on the path of parenting challenges and books that help children to the arrival of a new family member. The selection of books was prepared by a team of volunteer mothers who organize the breastfeeding festival. The exhibition of these books will be held in the library of Pavel Golia Trebnje a week before the festival.

Svetovni teden dojenja je teden, ko praznujemo tako dojenje, kot materinstvo in starševstvo. Že deseto leto ga obeležuje festival Dojiva se . Festival je namenjen pomoči in informiranju nosečnic o porodu, pomenu dojenja in tudi pomoči mamicam pri premagovanju težav z dojenjem ter drugimi izzivi v nosečnosti in starševstvu. Letos je staršem in bodočim staršem na voljo teden brezplačnih predavanj za starše. Predavanja so od 1. do 4. avgusta na voljo na www.festival-dojiva.se
Festival se bo odvijal tudi v Trebnjem. V soboto, 26. 8. 2023, od 9.00 do 12.00 v Mestnem parku Trebnje . V parku si boste lahko izposodili tudi knjige iz naše knjižnice. Ponudili vam bomo knjige, ki podpirajo mamice in očete na poti izzivov starševstva in knjige, ki pomagajo otrokom na prihod novega družinskega člana. Izbor knjig je pripravila ekipa mamic prostovoljk, ki organizirajo Festival Dojiva se. Razstava omenjenih knjig bo v Knjižnici Pavla Golie Trebnje že teden pred festivalom.
